Jocelyn Arcos

Hello everyone! My name is Jocelyn Arcos, and I'm from Southern California. I'm currently pursuing a Master's in Spanish Literature and also teach elementary Spanish at Notre Dame. I did my undergrad at Colgate University, where I double majored in Spanish and Africana & Latin American Studies. In my free time, I enjoy swimming, playing water polo, gardening, and walking my dog. I'm excited to be in McGlinn and can't wait to meet everyone!

My name is Lily Venter. I’m currently pursuing a Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA). I’m from Stellenbosch, South Africa, where I also completed my undergraduate degree, majoring in Finance. I spent Fall 2025 at Notre Dame as an exchange student, and I absolutely loved my time here. I am sure you will feel the same! Outside of my academics, I love going for walks & runs, reading and drinking tea. I can’t wait to meet everyone!

Hi Shamrocks! My name is Avery Ledo and I am from Fort Wayne, Indiana. I’m majoring in Science Preprofessional Studies and have a minor in Compassionate Care in Medicine. I am so excited to be the 2A RA and am looking forward to meeting all of you! When I’m not in McGlinn, I enjoy competing with the Women’s Club Soccer team, working out, and volunteering at the Humane Society and EBW Family Medicine Clinic. I love to travel, spend time with my friends and family, and play every interhall sport. I am so excited for another year in the best hall on campus. Roll ‘Rocks!

I am from San Antonio, Texas and am a Science PreProfessional Studies major and a Gender Studies supplementary major. I am planning to pursue PA school post grad! I’m originally from Maple Grove, Minnesota, and pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering. On campus, I participate in undergraduate tumor research, I play basketball for Mcglinn, and I am also involved with Campus Ministry. Outside of school I coach softball and also enjoy hiking, lifting, and playing pickleball with my friends!

Hi Shams!! My name is Nya Huff and I am so incredibly excited to have a wonderful year with you all in McG (especially with my 4A fam). I am originally from Beech Grove, IN and am a biochemistry major with a Spanish supplemental major, hopefully heading off to get my PhD. When I am not locked in in McGlinn, you can find me watching TV (reality tv, sports, literally anything), working in the research lab or just out and about on side quests. Also, odds are you will hear me before you see me. I cannot wait to see and yap with everyone in the dorm! Roll ‘Rocks!

Hey all! My name is Josie and I am so excited to serve as the 4B RA this year! I am from Louisville, Kentucky studying Chemical Engineering with a minor in Engineering Corporate Practice. Some fun facts about me: I studied abroad in Rome for a summer, I had a (very) short stint in a rock band, I love ranch, I’ve ran a half-marathon, and most importantly, I love the community and the people of McGlinn Hall. From the friends I met the first day I moved into McGlinn to the wonderful girls I met last year to our newest baby shams that I am so excited to meet, McGlinn has been my home away from home. Please don’t hesitate to reach out for any questions or concerns!
Fr. Richard Bullene
Priest in Residence
I was born and raised in Salinas California. I am a priest and religious in the Congregation of Holy Cross, having made first vows in 1979, final vows in 1982 and been ordained a priest in 1983. I did my undergraduate degree in Architecture and my seminary degree, Master of Divinity, at Notre Dame, then a Ph.D. in Architectural theory at the University of Pennsylvania.
I have been teaching and doing administrative work in the School of Architecture since 1992. For the last six years I have been Academic Director in the School's Rome Studies Program. I will be back to academic advising in the School. While I have loved my time in Rome I am very excited to be in residence in McGlinn.
We also have wonderful housekeepers who help us care for our home. Stop by their office space on the first floor to introduce yourselves or say hi in the halls!
